  1. Dry roast almonds & cashew nuts, then lightly roast the melon seeds, fennel seeds & poppy seeds for 30 seconds. When all of these come to room temperature add elichy powder and crush it into a coarse powder.
  2. In a pan take 2tbsp ghee, once ghee melts add the dry fruit mixture and roast it on slow flame for 5-8 minutes or till you smell the aroma of nuts.
  3. Now in the same pan take 2 more tbsp ghee, once the ghee melts add 1 cup of pitted dates and mash them & cook them for 4-5 minutes on low flame or till all of the dates come together in a ball shape.
  4. Now add the roasted crushed nuts mixture to the dates &cook them both together for 2 minutes and then switch off the flame. Transfer the Ladoo mix to a big plate and let it cool down to room temperature.
  5. After the mixture comes to room temperature you can add 2tsp of powdered sugar if you prefer the ladoos sweeter, I haven't added any sugar. Roll them and garnish them with rose petals (optional).
  6. Store the Ladoos in an airtight container, they stay well for up to 10 days.
